What we write about

Most of our articles are about interiors: apartments, houses and commercial spaces. We also cover architecture, design, art and gardens, and our news section follows launches and events in the industry. We only publish projects that were actually built. We show them in photos of the finished space, never in renderings, and we always credit the designer and the photographer.

How we work

We choose projects

We read submissions from architects and look for projects worth showing ourselves. What counts is the quality of the work, not the name behind it.

We write the articles

Our editors write every article based on conversations with the designers and the materials they share. We explain why design decisions were made, because “beautiful” is not enough.

We label partnerships

Every sponsored article is clearly labelled, as required by law. Readers always know when a piece was created in partnership with a brand.

Marcin Kieliszek

Founder, owner and editor-in-chief of PLNDesign. He has run the magazine from the start in 2015 and is responsible for its topics, articles, social media and brand partnerships. He has worked with interior and architecture brands for over a decade, so he knows the industry from both sides: the newsroom and the brands.

Who runs PLNDesign?

PLNDesign has been run from the start, in 2015, by Marcin Kieliszek, its owner and editor-in-chief. The publisher is PLN Design Marcin Kieliszek, with its editorial office in Łódź, Poland.

How can I submit a project?

Send photos of the completed project and a short description, including who designed it and who took the photos. Everything you need is on the Submit your project page (link: https://plndesign.com/submit-your-project/). We will let you know if the project will be published.

Is publication free?

Yes. Publishing a project costs nothing. If you don’t have a ready article, our editors will write it based on the information you send.

Do you publish renderings?

No. We only show completed projects, photographed after the work is finished.

How do you label sponsored content?

Every sponsored article is clearly labelled, as required by law, so you always know when a piece was created in partnership with a brand.
