Who is the directory for?
Architects, architecture studios and interior photographers. We look at relevant education and the portfolio; in exceptional cases we waive the education requirement. What matters most are photos of completed projects. We don’t publish renderings.
Where can I see existing profiles?
Visit https://plndesign.com/directory/ and choose a studio or photographer to see how we present their work, portfolio and contact details.
How many people visit the directory and how big is the PLNDesign community?
Almost 17,000 users visited the directory in the last 12 months. Behind it are the magazine and its social channels: almost 1 million active users and 2 million sessions on PLNDesign in 2025; Instagram: 57,000 followers and 15.9 million views in the last 12 months; Facebook: 52,000 followers and 16.7 million views in the last 12 months. Most of this audience reads the Polish edition.
When will my studio appear in the directory?
It depends on when we receive information about your studio, photos and your approval of the content. We prepare the profile and the article based on your answers. The Polish version goes live once you approve it, and the English version once the translation is ready.
What does the annual fee include?
A profile and an article about your studio in Polish and English – four publications in total. Plus profile updates, links to your website, publishing priority for new projects, social media promotion and a place in directory campaigns.
How do project articles connect with my studio profile?
The profile and the article present your studio. Separate articles show individual projects and are added to the portfolio on your profile. You can keep sending new projects with photos – there is no limit.
What do I get if I renew for another year?
You keep your directory profile, its updates, links, publishing priority and promotion. We prepare the studio materials at the start and then develop your existing content and portfolio. Each new project is another chance for people to discover your studio.
Can you also present turnkey finishing services?
Yes. We match the article to what your studio actually does. If you offer both design and turnkey finishing, we present both and explain how you support your clients.
How do I update my profile or portfolio?
Tell us what you want to change and send the new information or photos. Our editors update the profile and studio materials for you – updates are part of the membership and you don’t need to manage anything yourself.
Where will links to my studio appear?
We add a link to your website in your profile and studio article. In articles about your projects we link to your website and studio profile, including archived articles. If you don’t have a website, we can link to your social media profile.
How do you promote members on social media?
We show projects and tag their authors. When sharing on Facebook we send people straight to the studio. We also run a “day at the studio” series on Instagram Stories and campaigns promoting the directory.
How does publishing priority work?
Members’ projects are published first. In our experience the average wait is 48 hours, compared with over a month for studios outside the directory. We write project articles for free for everyone; members also get priority, a profile, links and promotion.
What is the price and how is it billed?
€250 net a year, the equivalent of about €21 net a month, billed annually. You get a reminder before the period ends and decide whether to renew.
What stays on the site if I leave?
We remove your directory profiles in both languages and the links to your website from project articles. The article about your studio in Polish and English stays on the site permanently.
Is joining the directory worth it?
A single commercial publication for a company on PLNDesign starts at €300 net. A year in the directory costs €250 net and includes a profile and an article about your studio in two languages, links to your website from project articles, publishing priority and promotion on our social media and in directory campaigns. Our editors prepare the content and keep your profile up to date.
