DCODE Interior Architecture was the first studio on the market to offer a professional service specifically for investors in the real estate sector. Specialising in investment interior projects, architect Emilia Krysińska not only supports her clients with twenty years of experience, but also shares her knowledge and practical expertise with the next generation of designers.

How was DCODE Interior Architecture founded?

The founder of DCODE Interior Architecture – a studio pioneering professional services for real estate investors – Emilia Krysińska, earned her architecture degree in 2006 from the Łódz University of Technology. After graduating, she began working in architectural offices, designing public and educational buildings as well as hospitals. In her spare time, she nurtured her passion for interiors by working on private apartments and houses. In 2016, she made the decision to establish her own studio – DCODE Interior Architecture (DCODE Architektura Wnętrz).

Poland’s first specialist in investment interior projects

Two years later, she launched the first professional investment design offering on the Polish market. Today, she has completed over 900 projects, including the interiors of several dozen rental apartments in a tenement building in Łódź, as well as 20 apartments designed in collaboration with a developer and trainer Wojciech Orzechowski.

I place a strong emphasis on the client’s investment strategy, as well as on analysing the property and the profile of the target tenant or buyer. Based on these insights, I select the functional layout and other design elements to ultimately meet the client’s financial expectations, emphasises the architect.

Designer and educator with extensive experience in investment projects

Architect Emilia Krysińska shares her knowledge and expertise through workshops and courses – including those offered via the independently founded Investment Interiors School, aimed at both beginner and more advanced designers. In addition, the founder of DCODE runs an Instagram account where she offers insights into the niche field of investment-focused interior design.
