A careful eye for functionality, boldness in the choice of colours and a flexible approach to styling. This is what distinguishes the interiors created by Izabela Siatkowska, a designer who swapped a job in real estate for her own office siatkowskadizajns in 2016.

How did the siatkowskadizajns studio come about?

Izabela Siatkowska decided to make a bold change after years of working in real estate – she set up her own design studio. Where did this idea come from? While supporting clients in their search for premises that perfectly fit their needs, she discovered a great sensitivity for space – its organisation and how it affects people.

Wanting to develop further in this direction, she took up studies at the Cracow Art Schools. In 2016, she graduated with a degree in interior design and began working independently under her own name. Today, siatkowskadizjans is a skilled team that successfully completes projects for both private clients and large companies.

Functionality on a par with aesthetics – interiors that engage the senses and carry a story

Izabela Siatkowska has been combining her experience gained in the real estate industry with solid project preparation, knowledge and sensitivity for almost 10 years. As a result, she looks at the space through the lens of the real needs of the users and puts functionality on a par with aesthetics. Her practice is guided by the belief that interiors should not just look – they should evoke emotions, convey stories and engage the senses through textures, smells, sound and light.

Her inspiration comes from the townhouse style with its orderly proportions and refined detailing, but this does not mean that the designer closes herself off within an aesthetic framework. On the contrary, she aims each time to ensure that the arrangement she creates reflects the character and rhythm of the users’ lives. She believes that interiors can be a tool for creating tranquillity, comfort and quality of life, and strives to support her clients in this.
