From a fascination with construction to an independent studio – the professional journey of Edyta Sowińska

Edyta Sowińska’s relationship with design has been developing since her early childhood. Growing up in an environment closely connected to the construction industry – alongside her father, an engineer — naturally led to a conscious choice of career path. Her interest in architecture and spatial design was built on solid educational foundations. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management from National Louis University in Chicago, followed by specialist education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, School of Business Wyższa National Louis University – WSB-NLU in Nowy Sącz and at the University of Technology in Katowice, where she specialised in Interior Architecture.

Her many years of experience in the construction and property sectors have enabled Edyta Sowińska to approach interior design from a perspective far broader than aesthetics alone. In 2015, she founded Edyta Sowińska Interior Design, a studio providing comprehensive interior design services for private residences – both in Poland and internationally.
