Poland and Spain – two countries close to the heart of the founder of Marle Studio, two working environments, and two major sources of inspiration…
Marcin Leszczyński – a Polish photographer with international experience.
The founder of Marle Studio – Marcin Leszczyński – has been photographing interiors in Poland and Spain for nearly three years, with his work regularly featured in industry magazines in both countries. The Polish photographer has also collaborated with graduates of the Istituto Marangoni Milano. He is currently based on the Costa del Sol. What has life and work in this picturesque corner of Andalusia taught him?
A specialist in working with natural light – Marle Studio.
It was Spain that deepened his desire to work with natural lighting. A calm, unhurried approach has heightened his sensitivity to the movement of the sun and sharpened his awareness, enabling him to capture exceptionally atmospheric frames. Shooting in compact homes along the narrow streets of old towns has taught the photographer how to work with limited light, streaming in as a narrow beam into dark interiors that contrast with the white façades outside the window.
Thanks to his diverse experience, Marcin Leszczyński works with ease in spaces with varying levels of natural light. He is also continually inspired by the work of Polish photographers who specialise in using available light. An open-minded approach enables Marle Studio to stand out through non-standard solutions that bring out the unique atmosphere of every interior.
Marle Studio is not limited to photography alone. Marcin Leszczyński also produces video content that allows interiors and architecture to be presented in a more fluid and natural way. Film captures space more effectively, along with its atmosphere and details that are difficult to convey in a single frame. Such productions work well both as a complement to designers’ portfolios and in the communication of brands within the interior design industry.
