From student projects to success at international trade fairs.

Maja Górowska, Karolina Koryniowska and Kamila Potocka met at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. Even as interior architecture students, they gained their first valuable professional experience. Kamila completed an internship at the AP Szczepaniak architectural practice, Maja at the External Reference design studio in Barcelona, while Karolina worked, among others, at Jonathan Radetz studio in Frankfurt am Main.

The aspiring interior architects were brought together not only by friendship, but also by a shared fascination with furniture design, which they developed together during their master’s studies. Górowska, Koryniowska and Potocka decided to jointly create the Iles furniture collection, which received distinction as one of the best diploma projects at the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts in 2017, and was subsequently presented at the Milan trade fair. Recently, the trio had the opportunity to return to the trade fair as Madde – co-creating the exhibition space for Sedno Studio’s products.

Madde Studio – interior and furniture design in a warm minimalism aesthetic

Their collaboration on their diploma project evolved into a shared ambition to establish a joint studio. This is how Madde Studio was founded, combining a love of nature, pleasure, and authenticity with a commitment to balance. Maja Górowska, Karolina Koryniowska and Kamila Potocka design both private and public interiors. Their portfolio includes projects such as restaurants, offices, retail spaces, and even an optician’s showroom. Although Madde Studio’s work focuses primarily on interiors, its founders continue to nurture their passion for furniture design by creating bespoke pieces on individual commission.
